West Hollywood, California

West Hollywood can be found within the County of Los Angeles in the State of California, it was founded in November of 1984.  Although the city only contains around 37,000 residents, the population increases drastically at night-time, and can rise as high as 100,000 people on any normal night, at a time of major events such as Halloween or the Gay Pride parade it can reach as high as half a million.

West Hollywood Real Estate

Entertainment and recreational facilities within West Hollywood are varied and plentiful.  Dining is especially notable within the area, featuring many nationally renowned eateries such as Rainbow Bar and Grill which features a lower level which comprises of the restaurant proper, while upstairs is an exclusive club named Over The Rainbow, which has a dance floor, DJ booth and full bar. Another venue of note, is the Abbey Food and Bar, owned by David Cooley it features a full nightclub, and has been the venue for several successful sessions of TV filming.

Shopping in West Hollywood is diverse, although arguably the best venue is West Hollywood Gateway, a fusion shopping development housing mainstream franchises alongside designer boutiques.  Often frequented by celebrities, it is the place where visitors to West Hollywood choose to spend their cash.

Two beautifully landscaped parks can be found within West Hollywood, both Plummer Park and West  Hollywood Park are wonderful places to spend time relaxing just walking and additionally are perfect venues that those who find that jogging is the ideal way to keep fit.

West Hollywood also has a profusion of heritage sites, such as the Architecture and Design Museum, Glass and Garage Fine Art Gallery and the Hollywood Film Archive Library.  Each of these is a notable attraction in its own right.
